Steps to take should there be a loss: First, protect your family and property from further harm. Make reasonable and necessary repairs required to protect the property. However, under no circumstances should you take any mitigation efforts that may expose you to injury. Second, keep an accurate record of repair expenditures. Some or all of these expenses may be reimbursed under your insurance policy. Finally, report the loss to Doran Insurance or directly to your Insurance company as soon as time permits.
